Why you shouldn’t snooze your Alarm in the morning?

Let’s talk about the unhealthy habit of snoozing off the alarm.

Rise and shine!!  The alluring rays of sunshine are reaching your bed. You are rubbing your eyes and slowly opening them.
Hoping for a day to be full of zeal and enigma.

This is how most of us think to wake up early in the morning .But reality is upside down.

Getting out of bed  is a big task for all of us and monotonous process.With the coming of winters it  becomes more challenging and often with the temptation of sleeping more, we fell prey to snoozing an alarm.This result into hampering sleep cycle and becomes unhealthy habit ,which hinder’s our well being and motivation for the day.

According to a study more than one third of women and 43.3% men say they never hit snooze, with the rest admitting to hit snooze at least once.

Here are the reasons why you should get rid of this habit :

1. Makes you more sleepy

Most of us indulge in the habit of snoozing alarm frequently, making it up to an hour or so. When we hit the snooze button our body go on a sleep cycle for another 70 to 90 mins and when we hit snooze button at frequent intervals that creates breakage in our sleep cycle. It makes us more groggy with the temptation to sleep more and hindering deep sleep.

2. Lack of productivity

When one don’t wake up at the planned time his or her whole day becomes a state of puzzle, leading to failure in following time table, create mess, lacks willpower and paints the pessimistic picture for the whole day.

3. Effects memory

Your body gets into a state of ‘sleep inertia’ after you sleep after snoozing. It lasts around 4 hours. Which makes us lethargic.

4. Loose control

The unhealthy habit of snoozing alarm dictates your mind and body. Your grip of self discipline starts to loose result into discontent.

The way you can avoid it is by ‘commitment to yourself ‘  and also require a optimistic frame of mind.

  • Make to do list.

If you don’t start doing the things you don’t feel like doing, you will wake up one year from today and be in exactly the same place. Waking up is the very beginning of your day and it affects your whole day and cumulatively, your whole life. If you have an impulse to act on a goal, you must physically make it happen or your brain will kill the idea. Wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction. Destroy procrastination.
