The best course to learn digital marketing, for free.

The year was 1931, the world had just got out of severe depression. Probably the first the world ever saw. The so-called ‘Great Depression’ had devastating effects all over the world. Income, tax revenue, profits, and prices dropped, while international trade fell by more than 50%. Unemployment in the U.S. rose to 23% and in some countries rose as high as 33%. Something of this sort again happened in 2008 during the ‘Global Crisis’ when Americans alone lost 2.6 million jobs.

The reason I am telling you about these Economic depressions is to make you understand the severity of situation corona has the potential to bring. In India, Over 122 million people in India lost their jobs in April 2020, according to estimates from ‘Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy’. And a recent report from MSME officials estimates that 100 million people may go unemployed as Coroa induced recession comes in place.

Corona has caused several businesses to shutdown amid restrictions and loss of revenue to even bankruptcy. This has forced most employers to formulate pay cuts and even fire some of their staff. Several countries including India have announced packages to help revive the economies after extended periods of lockdown. During these hard times, our evolutionary extinct takes the steering and forces us into the ‘Survival of the fittest’. Only the most competitive employees survive. This makes it imperative for us to skill up.

Upgrade yourself:

During the pandemic lock-down, all of us had enough time to work on our pre-existing skills if not learn a few new skills. A few of us build a few hobbies. Some of us bettered our cooking, some worked on our physical health and some took up reading. The smart ones learned new skills. From trading to editing to designing. And since you are here, I gather you are from the latter category. Although there are several free courses available out there on Learning sites like Udemy, Linkedin, Coursera. I would only talk about the one that I recommend. ‘Fundamentals of digital marketing’ by Google Digital Unlocked is probably the best course out there for business owners and workers.
